Cherry Bomb
Being on vacation doesn’t allow me to compose looks that are exactly “accessorized” to the maximum. So instead I try to improvise with color and print. This vintage Diane Von Furstenberg blouse is one of my favorite finds. I got it for about 3$ at Salval. I love the cherry red color and the panels on the breast. And finding something like this in a small town such as mine truly is like finding a needle in a haystack.
I love moments like that. I feel like they make me maintain a certain attachment to pieces in my wardrobe. Especially when thrifting.. I feel like clothing almost has a story. I try to imagine who may have owned it before I did… and almost romanticize stories in my head.
I used to hate the color red almost more than any other color (aside from yellow…awful). But I have since been converted by this cherry red seducer.
